Mbparkettsrl provides flooring installation and flooring maintenance services at customer premises in selected European locations. This policy explains how customers may request cancellation or changes to a booked service.
1. Service Deposits
The prices displayed on the website are service deposits.
A deposit is paid when a service is booked and relates to the booking and initial arrangement of the selected service.
The deposit is not necessarily the total cost of the service. Where a remaining amount applies, it will be communicated and agreed with the customer before the relevant work is carried out.
2. Cancelling a Booking
Customers who wish to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
The cancellation request should include the customer’s name, booking information and the service concerned.
Cancellation will be handled according to the applicable contractual terms and mandatory Luxembourg and European Union consumer legislation.
3. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
Where a consumer enters into a qualifying distance service contract, the statutory right of withdrawal applies in accordance with applicable Luxembourg and European Union law.
The withdrawal period is generally 14 calendar days from the date on which the distance service contract is concluded, subject to the conditions and exceptions established by law.
A consumer may exercise the statutory withdrawal right by informing us of the decision to withdraw within the applicable period.
4. Services Requested to Begin During the Withdrawal Period
If a consumer expressly requests that the service begin before the end of the statutory withdrawal period, the applicable legal provisions concerning services started during that period will apply.
Where the service has been fully performed following the consumer’s express request and acknowledgement of the relevant legal consequences, the statutory withdrawal right may cease in accordance with applicable law.
Where only part of the service has been provided before a valid withdrawal, the applicable statutory rules concerning payment for the portion already provided will apply.
5. Changing an Appointment
Customers who need to change an appointment should contact us as early as reasonably possible.
A requested change is subject to appointment availability.
Where a change can be accommodated, a revised appointment will be confirmed with the customer.
If the requested change materially affects the service scope, location or required work, the revised arrangements may need to be reviewed and agreed before the service proceeds.
6. Changes to Service Scope
Customers may request changes to the selected service before the appointment.
A change to the service scope is subject to confirmation and availability.
Where the requested work is outside the original service, any additional amount will be communicated and agreed before the additional work is carried out.
7. Customer Unable to Provide Access
The customer must provide reasonable access to the relevant premises at the agreed appointment time.
If the service cannot proceed because the required access has not been provided, the appointment may need to be rearranged.
The resulting arrangements will be handled according to the applicable service terms and mandatory consumer legislation.
8. Changes Caused by Property Conditions
If the actual conditions at the property materially differ from the information supplied when the booking was made, the agreed service scope may need to be reviewed.
Where additional work is required as a result, it will not be carried out without prior agreement concerning the revised scope and applicable amount.
9. Refunds Following Cancellation or Withdrawal
Where a refund is legally due following a valid cancellation or withdrawal, the refund will be processed in accordance with the applicable contractual terms and mandatory consumer legislation.
Where the statutory withdrawal provisions apply, any reimbursement will be handled within the applicable legal period and subject to the conditions established by law.
Where a service has already begun at the customer’s express request during the withdrawal period, the statutory rules concerning the portion of the service already provided will apply.
10. Cancellation After Service Commencement
Once the agreed service has commenced, cancellation will be handled according to the applicable service terms and mandatory consumer legislation.
Where the customer has requested that the service begin during a statutory withdrawal period, the applicable rules concerning services already provided will apply.
Where the service has been fully performed following the customer’s express request and acknowledgement of the applicable legal consequences, the statutory withdrawal right may cease in accordance with applicable law.
11. No Unauthorised Additional Charges
Changes to a service or appointment will not result in an additional charge unless the relevant change or additional work has been agreed with the customer.
The customer will be informed of any applicable additional amount before additional work is carried out.
